| Details: | Dr. He joined the IRREC Faculty as an Assistant Scientist in 2001 and as an Assistant Professor in 2004. His research interests include soil biogeochemistry of nutrients and contaminants, citrus nutrition, management of nutrients, wastes, and water quality. He is currently teaching "Soil Quality" (WebCT, SOS6134) for graduates and "Agriculture and Environmental Quality" (WebCT, ALS3133) and "Soil Science Lab for the Environment" (SOS3022L) for undergraduates. He is an active member of a number of organizations including the International Union of Soil Science, the Soil Science Society of America, American Society of Agronomy, Florida Soil and Crop Science Society, and the Florida Society of Environmental Analysis. He also serves on the International Steering Committee of the International Symposium on Plant-Soil Interactions at Low pH, and the editorial board for the International Journal of Communication in Soil Science and Plant Analysis. | |
